KEEPING KIDS PHYSICALLY ACTIVE
As the world continues to progress through the COVID-19 pandemic, I have heard from many families and youth organizations about the challenges around keeping kids physically active. I strongly believe that teaching kids to love playing and moving, while finding ways to fit it into their everyday lives is crucial. Doing so can set healthy patterns that will last into adulthood.
Wondering how I could help, I decided to create a quick tips sheet and a resources list for parents, caregivers, organizations, and kids (see Free Tips link below). These sites offer many creative ideas to support kids having fun, being active, and staying busy while parents work from home (or just need a break!).
